FitPlate AI is a general wellness nutrition assistant. It helps estimate calories, build meal plans, and flag visible or likely restricted ingredients. FitPlate AI is not medical advice and does not guarantee weight loss, nutrition accuracy, or allergen safety.
Information We Collect
- Account identifiers, including the private app account ID used to sync FitPlate data.
- Profile data you enter, such as goal, age, sex, height, weight, activity level, food preferences, and restricted foods.
- Food photos, menu photos, scan results, meal logs, meal plans, recipe requests, replacement requests, and related app content.
- Subscription status and App Store transaction identifiers needed to provide paid features.
- Basic app diagnostics, quota usage, and service reliability records.
How We Use Information
- To calculate calorie targets, food estimates, meal plans, and recipe suggestions.
- To analyze meals, ingredients, menus, and restricted food alerts.
- To sync app history and stored images across your app experience.
- To enforce subscription entitlements, trials, and usage limits.
- To improve reliability, safety, abuse prevention, and support.
Photos and AI Processing
Food, fridge, and menu images may be processed by AI and infrastructure providers to return estimates and warnings. Calorie, portion, macro, and ingredient estimates are approximate. AI can flag visible and likely ingredients, but cannot guarantee absence of allergens or restricted foods.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers for hosting, database, object storage, payment validation, analytics, crash reporting, security, and AI processing.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can request deletion from inside the app. Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal profile data, food logs, plans, restrictions, and stored images where technically possible. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or App Store transaction integrity.
